What are Evangelical Friends?Evangelical Friends are distinguished from several other branches of Friends in that we believe:
We have a mission: To communicate the Good News that Jesus Christ is the one True Vine. Apart from Him we can do nothing (John 15:4,5), but in a personal relationship with Him we can know love, acceptance and forgiveness. It is our hope that you see this truth in this place and in us...and believe! HistoryThe Friends Church began more than three hundred years ago in England under the leadership of George Fox, a man who experienced a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and spent his life sharing this experience with others. Those early Friends made great contributions to the spiritual and social needs of their country, taking the lead in securing prison reforms, religious liberty, Christian education, and care for the suffering.
